Biography
Madan Pisharody is a professional GeoShred player, performer and teacher with over six years of experience exploring the expressive possibilities of the instrument. His work brings the nuances of Indian classical music — Meend, Gamakas, Murkhis and raagas — into digital music technology. As India's appointed GeoShred Representative, he has led workshops, collaborated with reputed organisations and featured in demonstration videos for presets such as Naada Bansuri, GeoViola and Shehnai. An iPad music producer with more than 15 years in production and education, he founded Swar Laya Music in 2008, teaching guitar, keyboard, piano and harmonica in affiliation with Rockschool. He holds Grade 8 certifications from Rockschool and Trinity and continues exploring where Indian music, technology and innovation meet.
